ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVlSIONS.AND PLANS
FOR FURNISHING AND ERECTING CHAIN LINK FENCES FOR THE
NEW MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK 70 ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Pro-
visions and Plans for furnishing and erecting chain link fences for the New
Municipal Golf Course, numbered 5 10-5'5-23 and filed in the office of the
City Clerk on October 18, 1955;
NOW THEaEFORE, HE IT 55550 '50 BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Cr? ALAMEDA
that She aforesaid Specifications, Special sions and 21ahc., numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
HESSLVED, FOldHER, that the performance and completion of the work
rpecified in said Specifications and Previsions be, and the same is hereby
authorized.
-RESOLVED, FURTEER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed Olds up to the hour of e:05 o'clock 2.M. un NIlesday, November 1,
1966, for the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools
and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with
said Specifications and Provisions. aids must be presented to she City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed. cover and olainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Furnishing and Erectirs.--; Chain Link Fences for New Munici-
pal Golf Course", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alaneda, to the responsible bidder wt submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alaneda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tines-
Star a notic calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the Provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
