WHEREAS, the real property. situated in the Cit, of Alameda, County of
Alameda, State of California, described as follows, 01
LOTS 2 and. 3 and the southeastern 15 feet of Lot 1, in Block
"F", as said lots and block are shown on the rap of1Hater-
side Terrace, Alameda, Cal. filed August 30, 1912 in Book.
2? of Maps, at page 1•, in the office of the County Recorder
of Alameda County, (Map Book 69, ink 109, (Parcel 145:2)
has bean assessed . heretofore for coun1, y. purposes for the fiscal year 1) 55-1956, and
the takes levied thereon. are uncollected an'0 . unpai.d.; and
WI-TU(009, after the time said assessment and taxes became a. lien on. said
real property, to-wit. on August 1.6, 1955, said real property was, by. Deed (I) nn
ManninE, ..3(r.), recorded in. the office of :he County Recorder of Alameda County on..
August' i8, 955, in Book 7755 of Official Records, at page 267, (AK 89106) acquired,
and ever since has been, and now is, owned by the City. of Alameda, and has been and.
now is being used for public purposes, and because of such public ownership is nbt
subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
(0-OW 11'' 087, BE IT HESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LL. ,D that
the Board of .Supervisors of tha County of Alameda be, and it is hereby requested to
make its order and to take such further proceedings as may be necessary, to cause
all uncollected taxes, assessmants, penalties or costs charged or levied for County
purposes upon the aforesaid parcels of rea1 property, to be cancelled; and that a
record of such cancellation be made by the officer or officers having custody of the
record thereof, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4986 of the Revenue and
Taxation Code of thw State of California.
RESOLVED, F5THIHER, that the City Clerkfomard four certified copies of
thls resolution forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda.
