AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH ALTON 0. LEE,
ARCHITECT, FOR. ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES TO 0E PERFORMED
IN CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL. SHOPS AND STORAGE
BUILDINGS AND ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING TjILDINGS AT
THE CITY'S CORPORATION YARD.
WHREAS, the City intends to construct additional shops and storage buildings
and to make alterations to existing buildings at the City's Corporation Yard, located
at the north end of Grand Street; and
WHEREAS, such work requires special services of a professional and technical
nature, and special technical skill, and Alton S. Lee, architect, is willing to per-
form such services;
NOW M000 055, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF ALAYEDA that the
form of agreement to be entered into by and between said Alton Lee, architect, and
the City of Alameda, submitted to this Council and filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Alameda this day, and the terms, agreements and provisions thereof be, and.
the same are hereby, approved.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby author-
ized and directed to execute, and the City Clark to attest, on behalf of the City of
Alameda, an agreement substantially in the form and containing the covenants, agree-
ments and provisions set forth in the aforesaid form of agreement.
