RESOLUTION NO, 5204
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREENENT WITH C. WOODROW
BATES, CIVIL ENGINEER, 'FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO
BE PERFORMED IN CONNECTION WITH PUBLIC WORKS AND
IMPROVEMENTS TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City intends to construct certain improvements and public
works which will require special services of a professional and technical nature,
and special technical skill, encl°. Woodrow Bates, Civil Engineer, is willing to
render such services to the City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAY.RDA that
the form of agreement to be entered into by and between said C. Woodrow Bates
Civil Engineer, and the City of Alameda, submitted to this Council and filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Alameda this day, and the terms, agreements and pro-
visions thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved.
RESOLVED, FURTHER,that the Mayor of the City or Alameda is hereby author-
ized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City of
Alameda, an agreement substantially in the form and containing the covenants, agree-
ments and provisions set forth in the aforesaid form of agreement.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council or the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 20th day of December, 1955, by the following vote, to wit:
