Resolution 05205RE8OLUTION NO. 5205 F2OVIDING FOR EXTRA. COMPENSATION FOR EDITH I. PETERSEN, LMOPEL SECRETARY, FOR CITY SERVICE PERFOHMED DURINC, PART OF VACATION PERIOD. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Article h, Chapter 5, Title II of the Alameda Municipal Code every officer and employee cf the City of Alameda who has been continuously in city service far more than one year is entitled to an annual vacation with full pay during each calendar year; and WHEREAS, the services of Edith 1. Petersen, Legal Secretary, are urgently. needed during the remainder of her vacation period; and WHEREAS, said Edith I. Petersen has consented to work for the City during the remainder of her annual vacation; and WHEREAS, it is to the advantage, benefit and best interest cf the City that said Edith Peterson should work during the remainder cf her regular annual vacation leave, and has been granted permission by the City Manager so to do; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE! COUNCIL; OF TRE CITY OF Al that said Edith Petersen shall, in addition to her regular salary or wage, receive addi- tional compensation for one (1) week worked by her during her regular vacation period, PE T FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall terminate and be of no further effect after December 31, 1955. RESOLVED, FlEiTHEH, that nothing in this resolution is intended or shall be construed as repealing or superseding any of the provisions cf any salary resolution heretofore or hereafter adopted by this Council fixing the regular salary or compen- sation of city officers and employees for ordinary and regular service. * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th jay of December, 195. by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Haag, Hove, McCall, Moresi and President Eranelly, (5).
