AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OP CONTRACT WITH THE STAgE
OF CAIdFORNIA FOR FEDEaAL ALLOCATIONS TO LOCAL PUBLIC
HEALTH AGEMIES FOR FlUAL YEAR 1355-1956 UV2330,00._
WHEREAS, the StRte of California, through. its Department of Public Health,
has submitted a Contract for Federal 3 ,11ocations to Public Health Agencies for the
fiscal year Jul" 1, 1955 to and incladinF. June 3J, 195b; and
WHEREAS, the City Council i2 familiar with the provisions of said pontract;
end
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest fhet tte City of Alameda should enter
into said contract in order that Federal funds allocated may be used by the Alameda
Health Department;
NOW THEEEFORE, BE IT E3OLVED BY 11 COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
said Contract for Federai Allocations to Local Public Health Agencies be entered. into,
and that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is hpreby authorized and directed
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda, and the City Clerk is
authprib-ed to attest the same.
