AUTHORIZING 1' 11 01 CITY 19, 1911 AND MAVOR AT
CONFERENCE OF MAYORS TO 71 HELD AT WASHINCTON, D. C.,
FEBRUARY 16-17, 1956, AND ATIPROBRIATING 900,00 TO
DEFRAY EXPENSES INCIDENT TO SUCH ATTENDANCE.
WHEREAS, a conference of Mayors bas been called by the President of the
United States and will be held at Washington, D. C., on February 16th and 17th,
1956; and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it neoeasary and proper and for the benefit of
the City of Alameda. that the Mayor and the City Manager shall attend said Conference;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor and the City Manager of the City of Alameda be, and they are hereby author-
ized to attend said Conference of Mayors at Washington, D. C,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $900.00 be, and the SPalle is hereby
appropriated from Connell Account No. 101.210, for the purpose of paying the expenses
incident to such attendance.
