APPOINTING- THREE ASSESSMENT COMMISSIONERS FOR REClE-
MATION DISTRICT NO. 087.

WHEREAS, on November 10, 1955, the Board of Trustees of Reclamation
trict No. 2087 reported to the Council its original plan. for reclamation of lanEs
within the District, pursuant to and. in the manner-provided. in Section 51040 of
the Water Code of the State of California, by filing with the City Clerk two copies
thereof with an estimate of the cost of the contemplated works, including
dental expenses, maintenanbe and repairs, necessary for the reclamAtion. of District
lands pursuant 1') said plan; and
WHEREAS, Sentlons 51230 and 51251 of the WAter Code provide that when a
plan of reclamation nab been adopthd by a district and reported to the Council in
the manner hereinabovh described, the Council shall appoint three abeessment com
sioners who have no interest in any real estate within the district, which assess-
ment commissioners shall yiew and. assess upon the district lands the sum. ,'4 (11'E41

any real estate within. Reclamation District No. 2087, axe hereby appointed Assess-
mont Commibsioners to view and assess upon. the land within. the District tho total

ing to thm benefits that will accrue to each. parcel by reason of the expendibure

3. ThAt said Assessment Commissioners shall make a list of the charges
assessed againAt e1 ch. parcel, in the manner provided in Section 512l5 of the `ater
Code, and file the same, whon combletod, with the City Clerk, as provided in Section
51242 of the Wbter Code, whereupon the Council shall appoint a time when it will meet
for the purpose of hearing any objections to the assessment.
