ALAMEDA TO ENTER Iwo AN AGREEMENT WITH TEE FETEP2.L
GOVERNMENT TO ACCEPT TRANSFER OF, HOUSINL
PROJERT CAL-113-
WHEREAS, the Public Housing Administration has indicatad in a. letter dated
January. 6, 1956, addressed to the City Manager nf the City of Alameda, California,
thet authorization has been received from thh Housing Administrator to offer the City
an opoortumity to accept relinquishment of EN( INAL PROJECT CAL-4113 in the interest
of facilitating the City's redevelopment program; and
WHE'REA, the Public rousing Administration has further indicRted that the
offer is conditioned upon the City ,s entering irto an Immedlate agreement to accept
relinquishment within ninety. (DO) days; and
WHEREAS, it is the, City's intention and desire to enter into such an agree-
ment;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAMEDA that
it is the Cityis intention to file an application and to enter into negotiations
with. the :b 10. Housing Administration for the possible transfer of Enelmal Project
a l-4113 at the earliest possible date.
