ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM SOUTHERN PACIFIC
COMPANY, A CORPORATION, TN CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY,
FOR SEWER PURPOSES, AND CONSENTINC TO THE
RECORDATION PRMPEOF (BAY ST. NEAR EAGLE AVE.)
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the eth day of February, 1956, made
by and between Southern Pacific Company, a corporation of the State of Delaware, aa
grantor, and City of Alameda, a municipal corporation of the State of California,
as grantee, was on or about said date, executed and delivered by said grantor to
the City cf Alameda: and
W1LEREAS, by said indenture, said grantor therein named granted to the
City of Alameda the right of entry on certain property for the purpose of recon-
structing, maintaining, using and repairing an 18-inch drainago ripe along a strip
or parcei of land 10.00 feet in width, situated in the City of Alameda, County of
Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described in said indenture:
and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on the 80th day. of March, 1956, accept
said conveyance and acquired possession of the said eaaement in the said real
property:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE 0103' OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same it hereby accepted on behalf
cf the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and Dn behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this reso-
lution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code
of the State of California.
