ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL, PROVISIONS A.ED PLANS
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR
IN PEARL STREET, CALLING FOR. RIDS AND DINECTINS CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEUEAS, Specifications, (Special Provisions and Plans for the install-
ation of a sanAtary sewer interceptor in Pearl Street have been prepared by the
City Engineer, numbered PW 3-66-3 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on
March 20, 1956;
NOW THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED 28 THE COUNCIL OF 192 CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
files as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, EMIRTRER, that the performance and completion of tha work
specified in said .6pecificatiens and Provisions be, and the same is hereby
authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTRER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
eealed bids up to the hour of 8:C5 o'clock P. M. or Tuesday, 1ori1 3, 1956, for
the furnishing to the 312y of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifica-
tions and Provisions. Filds must he presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Installation of e Sanitary Sewer Interceptor in Pearl Street", or
similar designation.
Contract, 12 awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of thh
Charter o" the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submito the lowest
and bast bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective
bidder on aoplication to the City Enaineer, at his office in the City Hall,
Alamoda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Mimes-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of thls
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
