BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that subsection
8 of Paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No. 5134, be amended by adding there-
to a new Range No. 43, aa follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a portion of subsection. 9 of Paragraph 2,
Section 2, of Resolution No. 5134, be amended to read as follows:

BE IT FURTHE9 RESOLVED that the above ranee and salary shall be effective
as of APril 1, 19o3.
RESOLVED, FDETHE.h, that the provisions of this resolution shall super-
sede those portions of Resolution No. 5134, and of any other resolution. in conflict
herewith, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extant of such conflict
only, hereby rescinded and annulled.
