ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PIANS
FOR EXTE,RIOR PAINTICM- AND DECORATING OF KEE STATION
NO. 1 AT' FI'RE STATION NO. 2, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME,
WHEREAS, Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for exterior
painting and decorating of Fire Station ao. 1 and Fire Station No. 2 have been
prepared by the City Bngineer, numbered 7W 4-66-4 and filed in the office of the
City Clerk on April 3, 1956;
NOVi THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLNED B-Y. THE COUNCIL OF THE CIIT 97 ALAMEDA that
Jo. aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Scecifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby
authorized.
RESOLVED, FUETHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 6:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday., April 17, 1957, for
the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machThery, tools and equipment
necessary for the or hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifi-
cations and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Exterior Painting and Decorating of Fire Stations No. 1 and No. 2",
or similar desi7nation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.

on application. to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Eall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said 4ecifications and Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of AlamEda
in regular meetib assembled on the 3rd day of April, 1956, by the following
