WET31R7A5, on the ist day of September, 1.943, e lease of certain real
property belonging to the City of Alameda containing 12.961 acres, more or less,
was entered into between. the City of Alameda and United Engineering Company, a
corporation; and
WHENEAC, said United Engineering Company, a corporation, is now
known as Matson-United Properties, Inc. ; and
0 IT3::EA, said Matson-United Propecties, Inc. (formerly known as
United Engineoring Company) desires to assign that certain lease herein de-
scribed and has applied to the City Council for its consent;

that said City of Alameda does hereby consent to the assignment of the said
lease by Matson United eropenties, Inc. (formerly known as United Engineering
Company) to a.tson Navigation Company, a corporation.

he is hereby authorized and empowered to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
the consent or the City of Alameda to :aid assignment.
