BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that a portion of
subsection 9 of Paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No. 5134, be amended by
abolishing the position of Acting City Manager and creating the new position of
Assistant City Manager, to read as follows:

HE,7.0LVED, FLIaTHETi, that the above position and salary shall be effective
as of April 3, 1956.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the provisions of this resolution shall
supersede those portions of hesolution ,lc, 5164, as amended by Resolution No. 5273,
and of any other resolution in conflict herewith, and all such conflicting
provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only, hereby rescinded and annulled.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Nesoiwtion was

in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of April, 1956, by the following
