IN MEMORIAM. 70 ELBERT N. CLINTSMAN
WITH HEARTFELT SORROW, the Council of the City of Alameda records the
death of one cf its former employees, ELBE-HT N. CLINTSMAN, retired, who had
served the City loyally. and efficiently as Deputy AudAtor for twenty-ore year -
during the period from February, 1919, to July 1, 1939.
WHEhEAS, Mr. Clintsman was held in high esteem by hi2 associate
employees, as well as by all who had contact with him in his daily life, because
of his fine principles and friendly nature;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, in recognition of the faithful-
ness and competence shown by this employee in the performance of his duties
while serving. the City,. and the love of hls many friends, the Council of the
City of Alameda does hereby express its sincere gratitude for the excellent
exaroble set by Mr. Clintsman.
BE IT FUHTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread in full upon
the minutes of this meeting, and that a copy thereof be transmitted to the family
of Mr. Clintsman in order to extend to its members a sincere expression of sym-
pathy and condolence; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that when this meeting of the Council of the
City of Alameda adjourns, it shall do so in respect to the memory of
ELBERT N. CLIINTSWkN.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of April, 1956, by the following
vote, to wit:
