ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA ONE \1a TRIPLEX TYPE 8-HGRSEPOWER LAWN
MOWER, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY- Of ALI-LMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing to the City o' Alameda one new triplex type 9-
hGroepower lawn mower, No. MS 4-56-7, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
April 17, 1956, be and the same are hereby approved. and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 5:05 o'clock 0. M. on Tuesday, May 1, 1956, for the
furnishing to the City of said lawn mower, in accordance with said Specifications
and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda, Califcrnia, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for 8-Horsepower Lalon Mower", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in Inc Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of
this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City cf Alameda
in rezular meeting assembled on the 17th day of April, 1956, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Haag, HGve, McCall, Mcresi and President Kranelly, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
