ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LANDS FOR PUBLJC STREET AND HIGHWAY

aEiSOLVELD EY THE COUNCIL OF THE 3 CITY OF ALAIWELA, and snin Council hereby
finds end determines that the public interest and necessity. require the acquisition
by said City of Almmedo for use by said City for public street and highway purposes,
of that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in said City
of Alameda, Ccunty of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
A parcel of land situate in the City of Alamed2, County of
Alameda, State of California and being a portion of that land
describen in deed to Robert G. Beck and recorded in Book 4869
of Official Records of Alameda County, at page 315, and further
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the northerly
in of Buena Vista Avenue, 73.00 feet in width, with the
westerly lino of Pork Street, 80.00 feet in .width; the afore-
said point has the coordinates of v - 466,466.68 feet and x -
1,497,505.57 feet based on the California Coordinate Systbm,
Zone III, as are ald. bearings, distances and coordinates in
this description; thence along the aforesaid northerly line
of Buena Vista Avenue north 600 04' 38" west 22..0 4. feet to an
intersection with the arc of a 1.80.63 foot radius curve, the
bearing to center of curve being north lot 25' 21" east; thenbe
southeasterly along the arc of said 180.63 foot radius curve
13.22 feet to a point of compound curvature With a 39.00 foot
radius curve, the bearing to centers of curves being north 120
13' 47" east; thence along the arc of the 39.00 foot radius
curve 19.68 feet to en intersection with the aforesaid westerly
in of Park Street Where the bearing to center of curve is
north 160 40' 47" west; and thence along said westerly line
cf Park Street south 340 46' 13" west 13.96 feat to the point
of beginning; CONTAINING 141-2 square feet, more or less.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, directed
to commence condemnation proceedings in eminent domain for the acquisition of said
lot, piece or parcel of land, and that the Mayor be, and he is hereby, instructed,
authorized and directed, for and on of of said City and its City Council, to
subscribe to and verify a complaint, and to subscribe to any and all other neces-
sary papers and documents, in the Superior Court of said Alameda County for the
condemnation of said lot, piece or parcel of land for public street and highway
purposes.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 24th day cf April, 1956, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Haag, Hove, McCald, Noresi and President Kranelly, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
