ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND
PLANS ROR FURNISHING AND ERECTING CHAIN LINK
33.033 AT THE ALAMEDA SNIM CENTER, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING OTTY 3. 3.0 TO 33063 130 CAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specificationh, Special Provi-
sions and Flans for furnishing and erecting chain .Lino fence at the Alameda Swim
Center, numbered PW 5-56-8 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 2L,
1956; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY ±0 ALA' EDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed es aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTFER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby
authorized.
RESOLVES, FURTHER, that the Council of thh City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids tp to the hour of 3305 o'clock F. M. on Tuesday, May 15, 1956, for
the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equip-
ment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Furnishing and Erecting Chain Link Fence at Alameda Swim
Center", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of tte City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid_ The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Gadd Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, et his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The Cit y Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provihinne of this
resolution and of said Specifications and. Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 24th dey ±0' A ril, 1956, by the
following vote, to wit:
