WHERLAS, the City of klaxwda has pawsviously entered. into an sgamaagent on.
No:roc:Lox, 15, 19=35, bsith. the State of California, relating: to the administration
of polio vaccine by thw City. Health.. Dnrastxmalt, whereby certain payments were made
by State to City in conjunction. with. the paogram for clinical administration of
polio vaccine; and.
WHEREAS, said contract as it exists pro-Rid:3w, anong other things, that
the termlnation of the said contrabt and. agreershnt shall be February lb, 1956.;
and
WHEREAS, to obtain the maximum amonnt under said. contract as amendod for
the City of Alembda the contract should. be anwnbwd. to set a new termination date
of June 30, 1957;
NOW THEIFERNREN BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIANEDA that
the Kayor of thc City of Almmods. is hereby sethorizod to execute on Hahalf of the
Ging of Ala:mseda an bowndment to thc agreement herein deschibcd whereby in ell
cases the dwte February II., 195'61 shall bo amended. to inad June 30, 19571'
in all cases tMe date February 15, 1956, shall nw amwnded to woad jo:hy 1, 1957.
The aforesaid amondments shall be effective RerxxlsoM4, 1.956.
