ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR BUILDING PROTECTION OF 50 HOUSING BUILDINGS IN
THE ENCINAL HOUSING AREA, CALLING FOR RIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAVE
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the building protection of 50 housing buildings in the Encinal Housing
area, numbered PV 19-56-26 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 4,
1956;

RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
Special Previsions and Plans, numbered and filed as

that the performance and completion of the work

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 7:35 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 1956, for
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifica-
tions and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal
for Building Protection of 50 Housing Buildings in the Encinal Housing Area", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest ar
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by an prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The '2ity Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alaneda
in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of December, 1956, by the following
