AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT
DATED JUNE 2, 1954 BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, TO
PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN OPERATION OF CHILDCARE CENTERS
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of June, 1954 the City of Alameda and the Housing
Authority of the City of Alameda entered into an agreement in writing concerning the
operation of certain temporary housing located in the City; and
WHEREAS., a form of Modification of said agreement, to provide certaln
assistance in the operation of child-care centers for the benefit of the citizens
of Alameda, has been nrepRred and submitted to this Council, and this Council. is
familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the hest interest of the City of Alameda to modify said
agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a Modification of Agreement
Dated June 2, 1954, on behalf of the City of Alameda, and the City Clerk to attest
the same.

duly end regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1956, by the following vote,
