ADOPTIN7, SPECI7ICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS ANE PLANS
FOR INSTALLATION OF SANITARY SEWERS ON HIGH STREET
NORTH OF FERNSIDE BOULEVARD AND ON CALHOUN STREET
EAST OF PEACH STREET, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the installation of sanitary sewers on High Street north of Fernside
Boulevard and on Calhoun Street east of Peach Street, numbered PW 12-55-27 and filed
in the office of the City Clerk on December 18, 1958;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, 'pecial Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorizeci.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 7:35 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 1957, for
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Soecifica
tions and Provisions. Bids must be presented tc the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal
for installation of Sanitary Sewers on High Street North of Fernside Boulevard and
on Calhoun Street East of Peach Street", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will he awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer et his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion. and of said Specifications and Provisions.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City cf Alaneda
in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of December, 1956, by the following
vote, to wit:

Kranelly, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None,
