RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, and said Council Pere by
finds and determines that the public interest and necessity reouire the aoquisition
by said City of Alameda for use by said City for pUtlio park purposes all. that cer-
tain real property situate, lying and being witbin thp said City of Alameda, County
of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described ss folldps:
TO FIND the noint of beginning start at Tide Land Survey Stake
No. 8, as listed on Table II, Meanders of Salt Marshes, according to
"Man No. 2 of Salt Marsh and Tide Lands, situate in the County of
Alameda, State of OaliTernia, 1 e73/, prepared by order of the Board
of Tide Land Commissioners, and on file in the office of said Commis-
sioners in San ?ranciscc, certified copies thereof having linen filed
with. the Survyor General of the State, and with the County Recorder
of the City and Coanty of San Francisco; running thence south
20" east, 60.92 feet to a point; thence north 56* ot 30" east, 191.86
feet from tho point of beginning. with the last determined point as the
point of beginning of the property herein dnacribed, continuing thence
north 56* 40' 30" east in. a straight line, 260 feet; thence at right

to commence condemnation proceedings in eminent domain for the acquisition of said.
real. property, and that the Mayor be, and bn is hereby, instructed, authorized and
directed, for and on behalf of said City and its City Council, to subscribe to a
complaint in the Superior Court of said Alameda County for the condemnation of said
real property for public park 41 purposes.
