FOR. FURNISRING AND INSTALLING LOCKERS IN THE NE M' GIRIP
COURSE CLUB HOUSE, ciaLaNG FOR. BIDS AgD DIRECTING
CITY CLERK. TL ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepbred Specifications, Special Provisions
and. Planb for furnishing and installing lockers in the New Golf Course Cibb House,
numbered i' 3-57-8 and filed in the office of the City Cidrk on March 19, 1957;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY 41 '7 OF TwE cITY OF MAN:FRIA that
the aforesaid Specification, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby, approved and. adopted.
RESCIWED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and prosmisiphs be, and the same is hereby author-
ized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 7:35 o,clock p. sm on Tuesday, April 2, 1937 for
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tcolo and equipment
4 ecessar7 for the work. hereimabove referred. to, in accordance with said Specifia-
tIons and. a'roviaw ors® Bids must be presented to the City Clerls,in the City. Hall,
Alameda, California,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The r'.t t s reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Proviaions may. he had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in thb Alameda Tines-Star
a notice calling for sealed bids, in. accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said 47, lop and Provisons.
