WHEREAS, by. RetolutiEn No. 5587, the Council of the City of Alameda. will.
order the vatatior of a portion of Pearl. Street in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council of the City of Alameda that such
order. be effbetive and. in forne only: at such. rime as certain street improvements be
installed in. an area abutting and adjacent to thn portion of Pearl Street to be
vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL. OF Thl CITT OF AIIIMEDA that
Resolution No. 5587 ordering the vacation of a portion of Pearl Street, in the City
of Alampda shall not be in effect or of any. force whatsoever until such. time as
the City Enginner of the City of Alemedn files with the City Clerk.. of the City of
Alameda a certification. stating that street improvements abutting and. adjacent to
the portion of Pearl Street to be abarnored hayt been installed in substantial con-
formbnce with that certain tentative subdivision. map entitled "Tract 1860, Tentative
Map for Subdivision of Portion of Blk 181 of' the Lewelling Division, Alameda,
Calif.", said man Reinv revised on 12-17-56 and on. 1-2-57 and. marked as received by.
the City Clerk's Office on January 7, 1957; said street improvements to inclbne a
storm. sewer satisfactory to the City Engineer extending throng:brut said strept
improvements tn the northerly limit of said street work, and installation of all.

sE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, 6.E.d. is hereby directed,
not to record sain order vacatEng a. portion of Pearl Street. until such time as the
City Englneer's certcate refeired to above be filed with the said O. diErk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be deemed. to qualify'
and become a part of hnsolation fb. 5587 until such time as trb qualifications
contained heredr beconb satitfied.
