APPOINTING H. D. WELLER AS CITY MANAGER OF' TEE
I' OF ALLKEDA. AND FIXING SALARY AND OTHER
BENEFITS 0 SAID POSITION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' ALAMEDA that H. D. BEELER
be, and he is hereby, appointed to the office of City Manager of the City. of Alameda;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary. 01 said City Manager shall be that
fixpd by CodP 180 of Salary Resolatibr No. 8686, as amended.
BE If FURTHER RESOLVED that in consideration of the said B. D. WELLER
accepting employmont as the City Manager of the City of Alampdp, that the City of
Algvmsda pav for surh mpvAng exbbnses as are actubBigy incurred bay( the said H. D.
Weller in moving from Lodi, California, to Alameda, California; and there is hereby
abprooriated from Contingent Fund Ho. 199 an amount suTficibnt to cover said moving
expensing; said payments shall be made by the City Auditor, on the presentation. to
him of true and corrpdt copies of statempnts or invoices rplative to such 13'' 10
expense.
BE IT FTFA.27,ER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect as of Octobpr 10, 1957.
