RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY:OF ALAMEDA
AUTURMNG NEIL P. CLARK, ACTING CITY MANAGER, TO
SIGN FOR AND ACCEPT SURPLUS FEDERAL PROPERTY" UNDER
PUPLIG LAW 655.
WHEREAS, by Public Lam 655, 04th Congress (2.0 Stat. 453), tho Fedpral
government has authorized tho donation of surpluh Federal property for civil dofehse
purposes; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions are imposed. by the Federal Civil Defense
Administration, the Departnoat of Health, Education and Prelfare, tho California
Disaster Office, and the Surnlus Property Division of the State Department of Edupa-
tion Ln connection with the acquisition. of suot: property; and
WHEREAS, the Cityotf Alameda desires to become eligible to acquire such
hrchorty,
NOV THEREFORE, BE IT BESOIAkk3 BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
Clark, Acting City Manager, shrEAL be ahr is hereby authorized as tho resre-
sontstivp of said City to sign for and accept surplus Fe1 eral. property in. accordhsce
with. the conditions trposed thy the above agencies.
