RESOLUTION NO. 5715
TRANSFERRING $13,478.75 FROM THE ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE CONTROL FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain moneys have boon delivered to and received by the City
of Alameda from the State of California and deposited in the Alcoholic Beverage
Control Fund pursuant to the provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act
(Statutes of 1935, pamo 1123, as amended), and the provisions of Resolution No.
2212, adopted by this Council on December 7, 1937; and
WHEREAS, there has been expended from the General Fund. of the City,
solely for the purposes specified in said Act and in said Resolution, the sum of
$13,478.75 in connection with the operation and maintenance of the Police
Department;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the sum of 13,478.75 be, and the same is hereby transferred from the Alco-
holic Beverage Control Fund, Account 228, to the General Fund, Account 100 (76.12).
Th.e Auditor and the Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to make
said transfer on their respective books and records.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 5th day of November, 1957, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Schacht and
Vice President Petersen, W.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President McCall, (1).
