Resolution 05717RESOLUTION NC. 5717 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION CY A PORTION OF MOUND STREET, IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the public interest requires, and said Council hereby declares its intention to order the vacation, closing and abandonment of that certain portion of Mound Street, in the City of Ala- meda, County of Alameda, State of California, described a a follows: COMMENCING at the point of intersection of the center lines of Mound Street, 60 feet in width, and Waterton Street, 60 feet in width, as said lines and streets now exist and are shown on Drawing 4623, Case 54, City Engineer's files, City of Alameda, State of California; the aforesaid point has the coordinates of y - 560,911.01 feet and x - 1,596,710.76 feet based on the California Coordinate System, Zone ITT, as are all bearings and distances in this description; THENCE along the said center line cf Mound. Street South 42* 20' 07" West 30.00 feat to the point of intersection with the southwesterly line of Waterton Street; said point is the TRUE „POINT OF BECINNINa; THENCE along the 'last said line South 47* 51' 56" East 30.00 feet to the intersection with the southeasterly line of Mound. Street; THENCE along the last said line South 52* 20' 07" West 25.72 feet to its intersection with the Line of Ordinary High Tide cf 1571, between Stations 248 and 249 as said line is also shown on the aforesaid drawing; THENCE along the last said line North 80* 59' 16" West 71.01 feet to its intersection with. the northwesterly line of Mound Street; THENCE along the last said line North 42* 20' 07" East 64.13 feet to it intersection . with the aforesaid southwesterly line of Waterton Street; THENCE along the last said line South 57* 391 53" East 30.00 feet to the TRITE POINT OE BEGINNING. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the portion of Mound Street to be vacated and abandoned and the details of said vacation ere more particularly shown upon that certain map known as Drawing 4623, Case 55, City of Alameda Engineering Department, entitled, "Abandonment of Mound Street South of Waterton Street", which map is hereby approved for the purpose of this proceeding and is hereby ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Alameda,and which map is hereby referred to for particulars es to the proposed vacation. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the 17th day of December, 1957, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. of said day, in the COUNCIL CHAMBERS in the CITY HALL, at the northwest cor- ner of Santa Clara Avenue and Oak. Street, Alameda, California, be, and the same is hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing by the Council of said City of all persona interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published, in the manner prescribed by law for the publishing of ordinances of the City of Alameda, in the Alameda Times-Star, a daily newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City, and the official newspaper thereof. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to post, or cause to be posted, conspicuously along the line of the street and part of street proposed to be vacated, notices of such vacation, in the form and manner required by the legislative act hereinafter mentioned. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that in the herein proposed vacation of said street or portion of street aforementioned, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby elects to proceed under and in pursuance of the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1951 of the State of California (Chapter 250, Statutes of 1941), as amended. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in reFu- ler meeting assembled on the 1.9th day of November, 1957, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen. Collischonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and President McCall, (5). NOES: None, ABSENT: None.
