AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO. 5656 BY ADDING ONE
POSITION TO THE PCIICE SERGEANT CLASSIFICATION AND
DELETING ONE POSITION FROM THE IDENTIFICATION OFFI-
CER CLASSIFICATION; BY ADDING ONE POSITION' TO THE
LABORER, PARK DEPARTMENT, CLASSIFICATION, AND
DELETING CNE POSITION FROM LABORER, STREET DEPART-
MENT, CLASSIFICATION.
HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that portlon of
subsection 5, Paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No. 5656 be amended to read
as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date cf this resolution shall
be November 19, 1957.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall supersede
those portions of Resolution. No. 5656, and of any other resolution in conflict here-
with, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only,
hereby rescinded and annulled.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council. of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 19th day of November, 1957, by the following vote, to wit:
