DRINKS.
MIEREAS, application has been made by the persons here-
inafter named for a permit to sell non-intoxicating beverages, commonly
called soft drinks, in the city of Alameda, in accordance with the
provisions and requirements of Ordinance No, 262, N. S., of said city;
now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the council of the oity of Alameda, that a
permit be and it is hereby granted and a license ie hereby authorized
to be issued under and in pursuance of the provisions of Said ordinance
authorizing the sale and dispensation of non-intoxicating beverages,
commonly called soft drinks, by the following persona and at the follow-
ing places, to-wit:

Roscoe S. Gibson Veterans Memorial Bldg.
Mrs. Ora Smith 2325 Central Avenue
RESOLVED, that the license collector be, and he ie hereby
authorized and directed to issue licensee to said persons under the
provisions of said ordinance upon the payment by said parties to said
city of Alameda of the license tax of 4'5.00 per year or fraction there-
of, payable in advance.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution .
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of January, 1930,
by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Brodersen, Calcutt, Henning end :Latham (4).
NOES: None. ABSENT: President Schaefer, (1).
