RESOLUTION NO. 2454
ACCEPTING GRANT 07 EASEYENT FROM AL=DA BELT LINE
IN AND OVEN CERTAIN LANDS FUR HIGHWAY PURPOSES AND
CONSENTING TO THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, a certain indenture, dated February 19, 1940, made by and be-
tween Alameda Belt Line, a corporation, as Grantor, and the City of Alameda, a
municipal corporation, as Grantee, granting to said City of Alameda an easement
in and over certain real pronerty, therein more particularly described, for the
purpose of maintaining therein and thereon a public street or highway, including
all primary and secondary street or highway uses, has been duly executed and de-
livered to the City of Alameda by the said Grantor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV1T 13E TNE. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned indenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this reso-
lution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of
the State of California
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of February, 1940, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhart, (5).
NOES: Noneo
ABSENT: None.
