ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE -FROM -HUGH o. cALLAGELER oF CERTAIN
REAP PROPERTY- AND CONSENTING TO TIE RECORINATION TEIRTIROP.
VRMTtAS, u certain indenture dated. August 21st, 1926, made by and
between Eugh C. Callanor, unmarried, as party of the first part, and the City
of Alameda, a municipal eorporation, as party of the second part, was, on or
about said date, executed and delivered by said E sh C. Callagher to the City
of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, by said indenture, said Hugh C. Gallagher granted to the City
of Alameda all that certain real property situated in. the City of Alameda, County'
of Alameda, State of California, and particularly described as follows, te wit:
Beginning at a poi ht on the Western line of Oak eqreet,
distant thereon Southerly Inc hundred forty-eight feet, nine
incnes, from the intersection. thereof with the Southern line
of Santa. Clara Avenue as the said avenue now exists; runninE
thence Southerly along said line of Oak Street two and 85/100
feet to 0 point; thence at right angles Westerly Inc hundred
fifty feet; thence at risht angles Northerly two and 85/100
feet; thence at riEbt angles Easterly One hundred fifty feet
to the point of beginning.
Being a, portion of Lots numbered 10,11 and 12, in Block
numbered 36, as the said lots and block are delineated and
so designated upon that certain map entitled, "-Map of Lands
Adjacent to the Town of Encinal," filed May 23th, 1867, in
the office of the County Recorder of the County of Alameda;
and
YEEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on or about said date, accept said
conveyance and acquired possession of the above described parcel of real property;
and
WHEREAS, said indenture was inadvertently recorded on November 29, 1926,
in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, in :Tiber 1430, at page
413, without the Resolution of Acceptance of said City of Alameda as required by
Section 1158 of the Civil Code of the State of California;
Naw THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF ALAITEDA
that Inc aforementioned indenture be, and. Inc same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this Reso-
lution to be attached thereto, '3.5 required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of
the State ef California.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 10th day' of March, 1946, b y the following
vote, to wit:
