ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS ANT)
PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STANDARD CULVERTS
AND OTHER WORK CONNECTED THEREWITH FOR FISCAL
YEAR ENDING TONE 30, 1947, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special
Provisions and Plans for the construction of Standard Culvert s. and other work .
connected therewith for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1947, which Specificatlons,
Special Previsions and. Slane are numbered rw 12.-46-11 and were filed with. the
City Clerk of the City. of Alameda on December ), 1946;
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED 'HY TEE COON= 01' TFIE crTY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered .
and filed as aforesaid, re, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance aad completion of the work
specified iE. said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock on Tuesday, December
lith, 1946, . for the furnishing to the Oily of all labor, material and equipment
necessary for the construction of standard culverts and other work connected
therewith for the fiscal year (ending Tune 50, 1947, in accordance with said
Speblfications and Provisions. Rids must he presented to the City Clerk, in
Mhe City Hall, in Alameda, California, wider sealed cover and plainly marked on
Ile outside "Proposal for the Construction of Standard Culverts", or similar
designation-
Contract, if awardeM, will be awarded, subject to the provlsibne of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
test bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all. bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective
bidder on appilbation to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall,
Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, In the Alameda
Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions
of this Resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify taat the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
1' regular meeMing assembled on. the 5ra. day 1 December, 1946, by 01 followihg
