THEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special PTOVi-
sions and Plant form:aid work, which Specifications and. Provisions are numbered
PW 6-4.8-8 and were filed. in the office of the 9 Clerk of said. City on. June 15,
1948;
NOV HEREFORE, BE 1. R3ES1IVED BY THE CMUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIMMEDA
that the aforesble Specificationm, Special Provisions and Plans, Mum:har, d. and.
filed as aforesaid be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTH2,, that the performance and completion of the work
specified .in said Specifications end Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOINET, EURTIMR, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed. bids up to tam hour of 8:05 oucloek P. M., on. Tuesday, July 6, 19E8, for the
furnishing to the City of Alameda of oil labor, materials, methods and processes,
implamants, toole•and machinery, embegt as otherwise spebified, necessary for ,
work hemeinabove refenred to, in accordance with said Specifications and ProwiEions.
Bids must be. orebanted tc the City Clork, in thm City Hall, in Alameda, California,
under sealed 'paver 0111 1, 11 marked on the outside "Proposal for Storm Water Line
on Fountain Street South of Calhoun Street", or similar designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of AlameBn, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid, Tne right is reserved to reject any or all bias.
Said specifications and.. provisions may be had by any prospective biqner
on application to the City Engineer, at his office im. the Gibs; Hell, Alameda,
California.

Star, a notiCe calling for sealed bids in accordance with thd provisions of this
