AilOPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND PROVISIONS -FOR LIMITED
JANITORIAL SERVICE IN THE CITY HALL, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
1TMEHEAS, the City Engineer has prepared Snecificationo and Provisions for
limited janitorial service in the City Hall, numbered PW 6-59-12 and filed in the
office of the City Clerk on June 2, 1959;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 30 IL 0110 that
the aforesaid Specifications and Provisions, numbered and filed as eforesald, be,
and the same are hereby approved and adopted-
RESOLVED, FURTHER, ttat tte perforz,ance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions he, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOITED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda wila receive
sealed bids up to the tour of 1000 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 1?, 1959 for fur-
nishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment neces-
sary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications
and Provisions. Hide must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Led Janitorial Service in City Hall", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions cf ths
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid- The rioht is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidPpr on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the Clty Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star
a no ice calling for sealed bids, in acomndpnce with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing heselution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted ti the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 2rd day of June, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilman Colaischonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and.
Presidont McCall, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
