ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR SLURRY SEAL TREATMENT 0 CERTAIN CITY STREETS,
CALLING FOR EIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer [iFta prepared Specifications, Special. Provisions
and Plans for Slurry Seal Treatment on certain City streets, numbered IN 6-59-14 and
filed in the office of the City Clerk. on August. 16, 1959T
NOW THEREFORE, 22 IT REnCLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAI,FDA that
the aforesaid Specificatihns, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, he, and ti same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work apec-
ified in said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City or Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, AUGUST 28, 1959 for
furnishinp:„ to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necess-
ary for the work hereinabova referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and
Provisions. Bids mutt be presented to the City Clerk, in tha City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the uutsida, "Proposal for
Slurry Seal Treatment"), or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of thr9
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the resconslhle bidder wCo submits the lowest
and best bid. The right is reservod to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any orospectivo bidder
on application to the City E.nglheer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, Calif-
ornia.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to adverbise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice, calling: for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this rosolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in rocular
meeting assembled on the 16th day of August, 1959, by the folio vote, to wit:
