WHEREAS, The City Engineer has prepared Specifications Special Provisions
ann flans for the reconstruction of Versailles Avenue from Fernegde Boulevard to
Marina. Drive, numbered PW 2-61-3 end. filed in. the office of the City Clerk on
February 21, 1961f
NGH THERE:RORER j$ IT RESOLVED BY THE CORECIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed es
aforesaid, be, an13 . the same are hereby approveb and adopted.
RESOLVD,D, 13U1T13E7,, that the performance and completion of the work
tpecified in said Snecifications and FTovisioho be, and the same is hereby
authorized.
MESCLVM, FURTHER, that the Common of the City of Alameda. will receive
sealed bids up to thew hour of 11:00 °Polack a.m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 3, 1961 for
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machineryh tools and equipment
necessary for the work 01 01 referred to, in accordance enth sa3d Specif-
ications and Frovinicrs. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Fiala, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plAgnim marked on the outside,
"Proposal. fear Reconstruction of Versailles Avenue fr ernside Boulevard to
Marina Drive", or similar d.sigation.
Con-treat, if awarded, wilj be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of bite City of Albmeda, to the responsible bidder 1 h(7, 011b1 the. lowest
and best bid. The right la reserved to re,iect ary or all bids,
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City :Engineer, at 1 office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby dtrected to adverinse, ir the Ale/Reda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed. bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
rescletion ann of said Specifications and Provisions.
