WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specificatimns, Spec al Previsions and „Plans for
asphalt concrete paving at Franklln Park and at Krnsi Park, No. PH 1-67-16 ann filed. in the office
of the City Clenk on January 17, 1967;
NOW THEEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .5131' 6, that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Flans, numbered ard filed. as aforesaid, be, and the same mre
hereby approved and adopted-
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be at the same is hereby authorised_
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council. of the City of Alameda will receive sealed. bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. en FRIDAY, JANUERY 27, 1967, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and. equipment necessary for the work 1.5'.. -.530.5 referred to, in
accordance with said Specificatdens and. Provisions. Bids must be gresented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Aephalt Concrete Raving at Krusi Park and at Franklin Park", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subect to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and boat bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be Had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City- Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution. and of said Specifications
and. Provisions.
I, the undeabigred, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and. regunarly
introduced and adopted by the Council. of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day- of January, 1967, by the following vote, to wit:
