AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP
NO. 520, APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFI-
CIENCY AND ACCEPTING A CERTAIN EASEMENT (DIVISION OF
PROPERTY AT SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAN ANTONIO AVENUE AND
BAY STREET, - JOHN BARNI, SR,)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been presented
to this Council a Parcel map, designated Parcel Map No. 520, and heretofore conditionally anproved hy
the Planning Board, being a division of the property located at the southwest corner of San Antonio
Avenue and Bay Street, in the City of Alameda, by John Barni, Sr.; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by subdivider
of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted his bond guarantee-
ing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereon a certain easement dedicated for public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for
the construction and completion of the improvements in the division of property located at the southwest
corner of San Antonio Avenue and Bay Street, designated as Parcel Map No, 520, by John Barni, Sr„ be,
and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of 65,000,00, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easement dedicated for public use is hereby accepted, on
behalf of the public, in conformity with the terms of the offer of dedication.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
3rd day of March, 1970, by the following vote, to wit:
