WHEREAS, the Sta

ion to allocate $6,444 million in
the purpose of providing transportat
and handicapped; and
WHEREAS, there exists in the City of Alameda a need to
maintain and expand existing transportat on programs for the
elderly and handicapped;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED I3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Council does hereby authorize submission of
grant applications to the State Department of Transportation for
discretionary funds for para-transit services in the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in a special meeting assembled on the 15th day of October, 1980,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYE3: Councilmen Uiament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
