AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF APPLICATIONS WITH THE
METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR
ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992 -93
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)
has allocated funds for Transportation Development Act (TDA),
Article 3, Pedestrian /Bicycle Projects for the fiscal year 1992-
93; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to apply to the MTC
for the funding of two projects; $75,000 for funding a portion of
the construction of a bike path extension on the west side of Main
L1.. } Street from Atlantic Avenue to the Alameda Ferry Terminal entrance;
and $38,000 for funding the construction of Phase 11 of the City's
wheelchair ramp program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Alameda authorize the filing of an application with the
Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of
Transportation Development Act funds for fiscal year 1992 -93 for
the project described above.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of
December , 1991, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Lucas, Roth
and President Withrow - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
