RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE
REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT
TO THE PLAN OF THE WEST END COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT AND SUBMITTING SAID REPORT, PROPOSED AMENDMENT
AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION RELATING THERETO TO THE
CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Community Improvement Commission of the City
of Alameda (the "Commission ") has prepared a proposed Amendment
to the Plan ( "Amendment ") of the West End Community Improvement
Project (the "Project "); and
WHEREAS, the Commission has submitted the proposed Amend-
ment to the Planning Board of the City of Alameda for its
report and recommendatins, and the Planning Board, by Resolution
No. 1452 on October 8, 1984, reviewed the proposed Amendment and
recommended the approval and adoption of the proposed Amendment;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
Act, the State CEQA Guidelines and the Commission procedures
adopted pursuant thereto, the Commission has prepared and completed
a proposed Negative Declaration for the Project; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33352 of the California
Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000
et seq.), the Commission has prepared a Report to the City Council
on the proposed Amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Community Improve-
ment Commission of the City of Alameda hereby approves and adopts
the Report to the City Council on the Amendment and hereby submits
said Report, together with the proposed Amendment for the Project
and the Negative Declaration, to the City Council.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Community Improvement
Commission of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting assembled on the
20th of November, 1984,by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Gorman, Hanna,—Lucas, Monsef and Chairman Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
