CIC Resolution 84-21P 1; 113084 COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 84-21 RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE AMENDMENT TO THE PLAN OF THE WEST END COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, an amendment (the "Amendment") to the Plan of the West End Community Improvement Project (the "Project") is proposed which will delete certain property from within the boundaries of the Project; and WHEREAS, an initial study has been made to determine whether the proposed Amendment will have a significant effect on the environment; and WHEREAS, based on the results of the initial study, a Negative Declaration has been prepared by the Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda (the "Commission") and considered by the Commission in connec- tion with the proposed adoption by the City Council of an ordinance adopting the Amendment; and WHEREAS, on December 18, 1984, the Commission and the City Council held a joint public hearing on the proposed Amendment and the Negative Declaration, and the Commission has considered all comments and testimony received pertaining thereto; and WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the Negative Declaration complies with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and local procedures in implementation of said Act; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Negative Declaration prepared for the proposed Amendment to the Plan of the West End Community Improvement Project, the purpose of which is to delete certain property from within the boundaries of the Project, is approved and certified as complying with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and local procedures in implementation of the Act. 4, Section 2. That based upon the initial study and the Negative Declaration, the Commission hereby finds and deter- mines that the proposed Amendment will not have a significant effect on the environment. Section 3. That the Secretary of the Commission is authorized to file a Notice of Determination with the appro- priate county and state offices following the adoption by the City Council of an ordinance adopting the Amendment.
