RESOLUTION NO. 90-46
APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE PROPOSED
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE BUSINESS AND
WATERFRONT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING ITS
TRANSMITTAL TO AFFECTED TAXING ENTITIES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et sea.),
the Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda (the
"Agency") is in the process of preparing a proposed redevelopment
plan (the "Community Improvement Plan") for the Business and
Waterfront Improvement Project (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33344.5 of the Health and
Safety Code, the Agency has prepared a preliminary report (the
"Preliminary Report") on the proposed Project for transmittal to
each affected taxing entity, as defined in Section 33353.2 of the
Health and Safety Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Improvement Commission of
the City of Alameda does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The Agency hereby approves and adopts the
Preliminary Report for the Business and Waterfront Improvement
Project, dated December, 1990, a copy of which is on file in the
City Clerk's Office.
Section 2. The Executive Director of the Agency is
hereby authorized and directed to transmit the Preliminary Report
to each affected taxing entity.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Community
Improvement Commission assembled on the 18th day of
December , 1990, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Arnerich, Camicia, Thomas, Withrow
and Chailman Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
