COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 96-64
DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLISHING INFORMATION
REGARDING THE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, from time to time in the process of adopting or
implementing community improvement plans, it is desirable or
necessary for the Community Improvement Commission ("CIC") to
publish notices of Commission actions; and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 1982, the CIC designated the
Alameda Tines Star as a newspaper of general circulation which may
be used by the CIC for purposes of publication of all notifications
regarding community improvement matters within the City of Alameda;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda entered into an agreement
with the Alameda Journal for the publication of all legal
advertising.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the CIC shall use the
0 newspaper designated by the City Council of the City of Alameda, as
-- may be changed from time to time, for purposes of publication of
legal notices of CIO's actions.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda in special
meeting assembled on the 4th day of November , 1996, by the
following vote to wit:
