RESOLUTION NO. 97-68
APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE
PROPOSED ALAMEDA POINT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (APIP)
AND AUTHORIZING ITS TRANSMITTAL TO
AFFECTED TAXING ENTITIES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and
Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.), the Community Improvement Commission of the City of
Alameda (the "CIC") has prepared a proposed Community Improvement Plan (the
"Redevelopment Plan") for the Alameda Point Improvement Project (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33344.5 of the Community Redevelopment Law, the
CIC has prepared a preliminary report (the "Preliminary Report") on the proposed Community
Improvement Plan for the Project for transmittal to each affected taxing entity as defined in
Section 33353.2 of the Community Redevelopment Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Improvement Commission
of the City of Alameda that:
Section 1. The CIC hereby approves and adopts the Preliminary Report , as presented to
the Community Improvement Commission at their meeting held May 6, 1997, a copy of which
is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. The Executive Director of the CIC is hereby authorized and directed to
transmit the Preliminary Report to each affected taxing entity.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Community Improvement Commission of the City of Alameda in the
annual meeting assembled on the 6th day of May , 1997, by
the following vote to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Daysog, DeWitt, Kerr, Lucas
and President Appezzato - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: None.
