GRANTING A PERMIT 7OR A LICENSE TO SELL
SOT DRINKS.
7117REAS, application has been made by the person hereinafter named
for a permit to sell non-intoxicating beverages commonly called soft
drinks, in the City of Alameda, in accordance with the provisions and
requirements of Ordinance No. 262, N.S., of said city; now therefore be it
R7,SOLTED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that a permit be
and it is hereby granted and a license is hereby authorized to be issued
under and in pursuance of the provisions of said ordinance authorizing
the sale and dispensation of non-intoxicating beverages, commonly called
soft drinks, by the following person and at the following place to wit:
NAME
Joseph E. Short 1617 Park Street.
RESOLVED, that the license collector be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue a license to said person under the provisions of
said ordinance upon the payment by said party to said City of Alameda of
the license tax of 5.00 per year or fraction thereof, payable in advance.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of March, 1929,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Caloutt, Latham, Noble and President

NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Neiss, (1).
