AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF EEVOEABLE FERMIE GRAETING
PERMISSION TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO

CITY CF ALAMEDA
IF.-HEREAS, the United States of America, through its Navy Department,
Chief of the lEureau of Yards and Docks, has made applicatibn to the City. of
Alameda for permission tc construct a radar target on pilings placed in
certain submerged lands in San Francisco Bay, beinn'' to the City of AJameda
by virtue of grant from the State of California (Chap, 340, Stats. 1916 and
Chap. 594, Stats, 1G1.7), which lanes are more particularly described ir the
form of revocable permit hereinafter referred to; and
WHEREAS, a form cf revocable permEt containing the terms and condi-
tions to be agreed upon between the Ctty of Alameda and the United States of
America for placing of pilings and cchstruction of radar target has been pre-
pared and submitted to this Council at its regular meeting held on July 19,
1949, and marked "filed July 19, 1049";
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUTCTL 017 THE CITY OF ALkMEDA
that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is hereby, authorizeaEand
directed toe xecute, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City, a
revocable permit substantially in the form and containing the terms and con-
ditions set forth in the aforesaid form of revocable permit.
